No I don’t want to give 100 USD a year for a “privilege” to get back what was removed from the software.
That is called extortion. A racket.
To make it worse, that is connected to false marketing, where company web page still pretendes that old phase noise measurement is part of the software.
It is sad to see my favorite company go down the route of all others that want to “rent me” stuff I already paid for and after the fact.
Like I said. Return old one and then if “new and glorious” Advanced Phase Measurement is so great, there will be people buying Advanced one because it is better. Fact that you need to remove old one to force people to buy the bough option does not look good.
I will start looking into other realtime SA on market. My BB60B might be due for replacement and I am getting curious where it’s replacement will come from.
